Get ready for an immersive experience into the daily life of Langa Township, the oldest township in South Africa. Your local guide Sugar will take you on a walking tour to reveal the rich history of the township, its connection to Apartheid, and its current uplifting initiatives. Your first stop is the Guga Sthebe Arts & Culture Centre where you will meet local artists. You will take local transportation, visit a spaza shop, observe what the local ladies barbeque (braai), and visit a family home where you will eat a meal alongside with South Africans.
This is a great opportunity to gain insights into how most South Africans live and support local communities.
